Disclaimer : Time Management
goal:
To have a clear understanding of what Time Management means for your Wedding Day. To avoid and remove the element of surprise, panic and stress when running late. This also avoids the negative trend of dumping blame on the Photographer for proceedings starting late due to your own poor Time Management & Not allocating enough time for your Photographer to get the shots needed for professional photo's.
objective:
To achieve quality images during your Wedding Day in a professional manner without having to rush through the day due to Poor Planning & Wedding Time Management.
time management & What it means:
Its both the responsibility of the Bride & Groom to collectively work on a Time Schedule for their Wedding Day and stick to it religiously.
Poor Time Management WILL negatively impact your Wedding Day.
Guest's, Wedding Vendors, Vehicle Hire and Service Providers may all be left frustrated and annoyed should proceedings start later than stipulated on your Wedding Invitation.
Logistics:
The Bigger your bridal party, the bigger the logistics. Consider the logistics behind getting your bridal party back & forth to various locations during your Wedding Day. Unfortunately I do not offer any rides.
Preparation Session:
Preparation Sessions are all images taken before the Wedding Ceremony.
What You Need:
Both Bride & Groom must have the following ready;
Shoes, Belt, Accessories, Perfume, Cologne, Ties, Bow Ties and Rings etc. these must be ready and waiting on my arrival.
Environment:
A relaxed quiet environment where both Bride & Groom can focus on the Preparation Session without any distractions. Distraction while getting ready for the Ceremony can become extremely challenging especially if everybody demands the attention of the Bride & the Groom.
For example, 10 people bombarding the bride with 20 questions each during this important Preparation Shoot, creates total chaos! Doing things last minute is not an option, don't wait for the last minute to begin the Preparation Session.
Extra Shots & Special Requests:
Time allocated can be shared between Friends and Family if time permits, so plan carefully.
Car session:
Paying big bucks to hire a vehicle and not allocating time for professional photo's in and around the vehicle does not add up. This has to be considered while planning your Wedding Day Schedule.
Church or Mosque Session:
All Church or Mosque rules needs to be communicated by the Bride & Groom. I will try at best to ensure that I do not disrupt any religious proceedings. The less you see of me during the Ceremony, the better. The Wedding Ceremony is something sacred & important, the last thing you want is a Photographer lobbying for snaps. I try and cover the most important bits.
Please take your time, especially with the "You may now kiss the Bride" A 8-second long kiss would help me capture that moment, so please don't be shy! hehe!
Remember, my function on the day is to ensure that I capture your memories. I am not a Wedding Planner, so it's unfortunately not my responsibility to be the Time Co-Ordinator.
