JACOBS 40th ANNIVERSARY PARTY
I have had my fair share of parties, but It's not everyday that I get to cover a 40th Wedding Anniversary, thats no easy milestone.
Both also celebrated their Birthday's on this beautiful summer's evening, which was the cherry on top! With vibrant guest's and good food, it was a celebration of two kind people who dedicated both their lives to Christianity and who have played many important roles in the lives of friends and family.
With guest's sharing their old stories, gratitude and admiration towards the couple, everybody had a good time and some goof laughs too, lol! Securing this humble couple's 40th Anniversary Party reminded me of that old school love because their love stood the test of time, amazing!

ZOE's MATRIC BALL
Nothing beats a Matric Ball, especially if your the Student and school is way better then work, trust me kids! lol!!
I enjoyed securing Zoe's Matric Ball memories and her parents were both equally extremely proud. Grandma showed up and insisted to stand right next to Zoe to get the best pic possible, what a super nice lady. Zoe's friends and family were all super excited and even the cat pitched for a photo.
It seems funny to have High School be associated with something fun & exciting like your Matric Ball, it makes the Teacher's seem cool for one night of the Year, only! At least in my own opinion, hehe!
Wishing Zoe all of the best for the future and sure hope that she and her 3 friends try and improve their "Dabbing" skills urgently! lol!

VOSTER's FAMILY SHOOT
Ain't nothing better then family time and securing the Voster family shoot memories was great!
Sundays and summer vibes are here and although it was a windy day, there was no shortage of excitement. The Voster's even had extended family joining in to celebrate Nicky's Birthday, and thats great because the more the merrier. Everybody had a blast and we had 3 ladies who represented the Democratic Alliance gracefully, lol!
Getting professional images is fun and exciting and it also helps the family break away from the norm, Its amazing how a Photoshoot can bring so much joy and excitement, make my task so much easier.

ZOE'S First Birthday Party
Between hoping it won't rain and the cold wind, Zoe's family (a big one I might add!) and all the kids going crazy on the jumping castle I sure had fun! Zoe was loving all the attention and everybody were excited. Everybody coming together over cake having a laugh is amazing. Memorable moments are having both parents, grandma & grandpa proud of 1 year old little Zoe. With no shortage of celebratory Cupcakes, the good weather was certainly a bonus.

MARETEKWA FAMILY SHOOT
This was not only a Family Shoot but also a Smash-The-Cake session for their 1 year old and to finish the shoot a few minutes before the rain started was indeed a blessing. Photographing a family of six in a beautiful park is always exciting and it was super rewarding as they all had fun!! For me it was something new as I have never shot at this particular Park before, it was a little gem and the greenery had me all smiles when I pulled up.
Family is important, and every shoot I do reminds me of just how much we should cherish every moment with our family. I did not want to leave the Park, I love the outdoors. To bring a family out on location is much less boring then doing a Studio Shoot because its a opportunity for a family to have fun in unison and at this shoot there were no shortage thereof!

TARA-LEE's 2nd Birthday Party
About a year ago I shot Tara's 1st Birthday Party and this year I returned. Always great catching up with this awesome family. Every birthday celebration is different but I get to have fun at all of them, not to mention the celebratory cup cakes! Yummy!!
Funny how kids grow, Tara-Lee was crawling a year ago but she is now walking and running. Tara-Lee stole the show with all her friends and family having a good time and totally gave the Jumping Castle a hard time. I love a Jumping Castle too, but I was working and couldn't really join them in the fun, but maybe next year..!

What do you get when you shoot five sisters the day before Mothers Day..?
Excitement!!
These young ladies were so much fun to capture and arrived dressed for the occasion. Now, I'm not saying they smiled in unison at first, but 20 minutes into the shoot these ladies warmed up to the lens and the rest was all fun & laughter! We had a random young lady crash the shoot and photobombed them midway through the shoot, but it was all in good spirit! LOL!
This is yet another reminder of just how important Family and especially siblings ought to be, you ladies are amazing!

NICOLE's MATRIC BALL
Let me begin by saying that a Matric Ball is an occasion that brings along a certain feeling of achievement! Nicole's Mom and Dad were super excited and proud of their kind and mostly shy daughter, this led to a simply amazing evening!
Nicole quickly warmed up to my style of photography during the few minutes I spent securing her memories.
Looking beautiful in her dress, Nicole even had some extra attention from a passer-by and together she and her partner looked dashing in their fancy attire!! The old school classic car matched their refined, but timeless look and light tones of her dress!
I want to thank Nicole's parents for their super kind and ultra Welcoming hospitality, you guys rock! Finally I would like to wish Nicole all of the success in the world and hope she enjoys her Matric Exams!

SOLOMANS FAMILY SHOOT
Family Shoot's are still one of those fun outdoor activities that really brings families together. Shot about a week ago, it was a cool Sunday afternoon and spending time with the Solomans was super fun!
Although nervous, like most families I photograph. It didn't take long for this jolly family to warm up to posing and smiling confidently. After a few laughs, funny moments and a quick wardrobe change for their cute baby boy Jessie, the shoot was complete. Fun times indeed.

DE RONDE FAMILY SHOOT
I was convinced that this lovely family of five from Cape Town have been doing family shoots for ages. it's always nice to have a family be fully prepared for a Family Shoot and naturally the De Ronde's were right on point with their smiles.
This allowed me more time to focus on organising the family members during the shoot to secure lasting memories for years to come. And on a cool and sunny day like the one we had a week ago, success was imminent. Finally a Sneak Peek!
